Sorry, that's incorrect.

FMJ is a common round type for most rifles or pistols, and is mainly designed for target or range / competition shooting. Here in Swissy, we're only allowed to buy FMJ. My 9mm Glock 17, and my .45 Colt 1911 are loaded with FMJ.

Hollow point is the nasty stuff.
