    The 'bloatware' can be turned off altogether - or, if you choose to, delete them or reformat the laptop to wave goodbye to the Dell software - and Dell have genuinely reliable systems nowadays.

    They used to be overpriced and fairly underwhelming but during the last two years, they have kicked themselves up the backside and delivered some great new products. I used to dislike Dell for the same reasons you described above but I think they are doing well for themselves now, and for their customers too.

    I think their Studio laptop line is great especially the XPS 13 & 16.
