    Asprin = teh dead (doesn't stop you reading his books, obviously)

    Yes to Pratchett. And his kids' books are pretty good for anyone who isn't quite up to fully-fledged Discworld yet (Bromeliad, Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, all the Tiffany Aching stuff).

    Eddings as well, but like someone else said, nothing he's done in the last 10 years. It's all shit.
