@Lt_Drebin The reason you shut down is partially good news in a way; there was no issue with demand or revenue, rather, Canonical and Ubuntu were not playing along. That, plus you have a child coming. Valid reasons for which the general Linux world can take no blame. Maybe you could get back into it somewhere down the line. You did stop at a crucial point in history considering Valve's push into and for the Linux market with SteamOS and the Steam Machines and various other aspects. It's a pity, though. Kamatech was great to refer people to who are interested in PCs running Linux and reside in the UK. In addition, I would have liked to use Kamatech to buy wedding gifts but I guess building a PC is more personal. Once you get back into it, do give me a shout. I'll make sure to do more marketing this time. |
