@SYS64738 Cool. I didn't get much done tonight and probably won't get to play again until the weekend, but I'll keep all that in mind. Good shout on the D rated stuff - my Viper MkIV has mostly A rated upgrades because that was what I went for when I was first playing without really understanding the pros and cons of what I was buying. For example, it has a kick-ass rail gun that I didn't even fire in anger (literally!) until yesterday when I got pissed off with the same NPC following me around for jump after jump because he was after the black boxes I'd salvaged right at the start of a loop route I was doing! I killed the guy and got a bonus for it and was pleasantly surprised at how much I made, but the downside is the salvage operations take a while. I also realised it was pointless running a slew of cargo/data missions to rake in 800k per hour when I was seeing passenger missions for 1 million plus that would take me less than twenty minutes! Not sure I want to go the passenger liner route, so the Asp X seems a good compromise for now. .gif) |
