Alto's Dream is rather pleasant. Liking the "pay once" category of games that has popped up.
I echo your recommendation too; such a great little game that shares a visual identity with Journey, although it is called Alto's Adventure, mind.

Only boo-hoo point is the 'workshop', which consists of just three items. More like a barebones shop! I do not like being chased by the Elders though ... feels quite tense, but it is great when you finally jump over a wide chasm to lose their once pursuing tail.

The 'pay once' category is blooming brilliant BTW, and was long, long overdue too.

Truth be told, Alto's Adventure is the first game I have bought on the App Store this year, mainly because I keep playing Desert Golfing, which is the only never ending game you'll ever need on your iPhone/iPad, and that the selection hasn't been particulary good for a little while now.

The last game I bought was - *checks purchases on iTunes* - (Around the World in) 80 Days, Goat Simulator and The Sailor's Dream last year ... 80 Days is probably one of the very best things to come out on the App Store since the App Store begun. It was also chosen as TIME magazine game of the year too!
