I have two set-ups at home. One is in a small-ish room connected to a sub £500 sound bar that does pseudo surround sound (wall bouncing). The other is in a larger room and is the full 5.1 set-up through an amplifier and B&W speakers.

Frankly, I think they're both excellent and work brilliantly in the space they were designed for. However the price I paid for the 5.1 set-up would be ludicrous overkill in the smaller room.

Long story short, you don't need to buy expensive audio equipment for small rooms when a decent soundbar will sort you out.
There is absolutely no reason why you can't get a soundbar AND pay a fortune.

    Just get this! :)
