This might happen, but:

1) The vast majority of the time advantage was on sector 2, pointing to a specific RB advantage over that portion of the track (Merc have been relatively poor in S2 all weekend), on a track that Merc isn’t known for loving.
2) The race simulation runs yesterday were extremely tight between the two teams.

So in short, Max might romp to the win tomorrow, but the potential for a great race is still there, and I’m pretty confident it’s going to be a great season overall with lots of ebbs and flows.
