OK then , answer this one truthfully . If any member of your family , or a close friend , voted for either the BNP or UKIP, would you dis-own them?
    BNP: yes.

UKIP: they're just dozy Tory rightwing fuckers.

Let me get this right. You are saying that if your Father or Mother , brother or sister , or even your own wife , if your married of course , was to vote BNP, then you would dis-own them. I find that anyone who puts politics before family , is missing out on something. Would it realy be worth alienating your family or friends for possibly years and years , just for some political party ?

Politics, like religion, can be a large part of a person's life. I suspect that people are unlikely to be friends or be in a relationship with someone with conflicting views to your own.

That's not to say people of different religions or political views cannot get along. However, to spend time with someone who's views you personally find deeply offensive is going to be extremely challenging.

Are you suggesting you would tolerate active racism from someone you love? Would you not try and challenge their views and try to educate them? Racism is merely a product of fear and lack of knowledge. To treat everyone of a particular race as the same as anyone else from the same race is a ludicrous idea.

I suspect people that have an issue with the BNP, have an issue because the party promotes racism. Would you tolerate a friend or family member who was a Nazi?

And you would do this because you would not approve of their democratic rights to vote for whom they want to. Incredible.

I don't believe anyone here has an issue of people exercising their democratic right to vote, but they do have an issue with who they are voting for. There is a difference.

I would have a bigger issue with people removing the right to vote from people who hold opinions and views they disagree with.

A vote for the BNP is a vote for racism. However, people have the right to express their views (racist or otherwise) via the ballot box. I just hope not many people in this country do harbour racists views.
