    @Salaman
    You are going the wrong way my good man... :)
    England and it's road are awful. Unless it's an early Sunday Morning start.

    Ardennes, Vosges, Black Forest, Alps & back...
    That's what I'll be doing in June.

    I love riding on the continent. It's all so vast and often we don't see a car for tens of miles.
    And if you do they tend to run themselves off the road to allow you through. And the Fooood... oh the food...

    I'm in the south east and whilst the downs, chilterns and the cotswolds are a stones throw, to get to the "nice" roads you have to battle through uninspiring roads and psychotic drivers, who it seems are intent of causing you harm.

    A bit oot perhaps, but when you've got the regions stated above, generally on your doorstep, I know which point on my compass I'd follow. S. :)

    RE: Comms on the bike. The group of 4-5 I ride with all have various versions of the Scala Bluetooth units.
    Really excellent and you can buy twin packs pre "Paired". Split the cost between the two of you and it might not be too bad. But they are on the expensive side. But worth it in my opinion.
    Alternatively a couple of my friends just went for the cheapy Ebay options, and whilst range isn't great as long as you aren't more than a couple of hundred yards between you they work pretty well.
