    Can anyone tell me, apart from the fuss the unions would kick up, why haven't the tubes (and trains generally really) gone driverless throughout? DLR seems to work well enough and it isn't like the buses where they have to dodge pedestrians and re-route occasionally.

    Would stop the unions getting in the way of ever little change and make the system instantly cheaper!
