Er, yes they are. They believe that Jesus was the only son of god and that he died for mankind's sins. Just because a lot of the other stuff they believe in is a slightly different brand of faith to mainstream Catholic / Anglican faith doesn't make them any less a Christian sect.

(An even more mental Christian sect than the rest, maybe, but Christians nonetheless.)
