The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald. For a book written so long ago,its relevance in today's society is unquestionable uncanny. A great classic and as far as i know a new movie is in production coming next year.

Fear and loathing on the campaign trail '72 by Dr. Hunter S Thompson is worth checking out. Its a little hard to read in places still a dam good read and very funny.
