    I personally buy my parts from akihabarashop.jp , Though a lot of other people buy theirs from Gremlin solutions (they're a UK based site).

    Oddly enough, depending on what you're buying...it works out cheaper to buy from Akihabara.

    So long as your solders aren't touching and it's clean and shiny, you're good to go. I accidentally had a bit of solder crossing over the signal and ground points on my 360 pad before, oh god that was a nightmare to Desolder to stop the board shorting light kick everytime I plugged it in XD.
