I have too, although I wondered at first if it was because the Amp was cutting out to stop overloading the speakers (they're only little 6ohm ones). FWIW, the Amp's a Yam RVX-767, and I've not had any problems in any other game, so I quickly gave up this theory.
Kinda glad it looks like it's due to non-standard DD and not the Amp!
I've just found this.
The claim is, if you're signed out of XBL (assuming this is happening on a 360), then the problem goes away. Which is just downright odd, as that implies it can't be the DD stream!
