I saw a Boglin in a charity shop the other day, I was tempted.

    I miss:

much, much better kid's TV (Knightmare, Mysterious Cities of Gold, Ulysses 31 etc etc), and bringing the duvet down to the living room so I could curl up on the sofa and spend Saturday morning watching all the good cartoons

crab fishing, where you would go and find mussels, break them with stones, tie the bits to a twig with a bit of seaweed and dangle them into the shallow water, then run away screaming when a crab latched onto your "fishing rod"

I would have said Supermousses, but THEY'RE BACK!! And the strawberry ones are almost the same as they were back in the day :)

my mum's Irish stew and a thing she made called "dinner tart" which was basically a meat, vegetable and potato pie, yum

getting to go to lots of birthday parties and getting a goodie bag full of stuff to bring home at the end

nine weeks of summer holidays (they're longer in Ireland than they are in England)

watching Eurotrash on the telly in my bedroom with the sound almost off so my mum wouldn't find out and go mental
