At 18, you're still a little kid

It's definitely not too late to start playing the piano.

Just start somewhere. While singing does help develop 'an ear for music' it's far from mandatory in my opinion.

I would highly recommend the course Piano in 30 Days for your kid.

It's like having a virtual teacher beside you that helps you with your training 24/7, except it's a lot cheaper.

It's very aggressive and not for everyone, but it taught my eldest daughter A LOT very, very quickly.
