Might as well as ask meat eaters why, if they like meat so much, do they eat sausages, burgers and nuggets instead of just real, off the flank, cuts of meat.
I like the taste of meat. I don't plan on cutting meat out entirely, but if the floodgates to shitty U.S. meat open once we get buggered by trade deals I might well do so.
But think I also think it's ecologically a bit of a disaster and eating to much bacon and sausage isn't exactly healthy.
Haven't bought any meat sausages for years, and recently found that I rather like the This Isn't Bacon fake bacon. Easily the best fake bacon I've tried.
Totally agree about the This Isn't Bacon fake bacon, it is the best I have tasted and rather nice in a BLT. |
