    I found the check-point placement tedious to the point of begging the game to sort it out, and the lack of player empowerment to be truly baffling. At no point does the game give you a chance to cut loose with an uber weapon. It was resolutely stingy with the fun in that regard.

    And FFS, stop shutting doors behind you the moment you move into a new area. That coupled with shitty underpowered guns was too much for me to bear for more than just a couple of chapters.

    Needless to say this was part-exed for another game, largely unfinished. Probably the most irritating FPS game I've played. The implementation of time travel seemed a bit token too. Why did it only affect such contrived localised areas/ objects?
