DS2 did some things really well (power stancing, the PvP was great, the DLC was amazing, more fun and weird weapon options) and some things not so great (the original PvE experience, the 'mobs disappear if you farm them too much' malarky, Soul Memory...).

I still love the Chicken Leg weapon aka the Smelter's Hammer. Required 70 strength to use 1 handed (highest ever str requirement in any souls game) and had that ridiculous spin and into launching yourself into the air. Was useless move really but it was just fun.

Meanwhile all of the Dark Souls 3 weapons are very...utility...apart from the Four Pronged Plough.
