I thought this may be of interest to some. I bought a 4GB xbox slim, then took the hard drive out of my old xbox 60GB and put it in the slim - and it works perfectly. Here is the link with instructions: http://www.myce.com/news/hack-your-old-xbox-360-hard-drive-into-an-xbox-360-slim-33667/ To get the hard drive out of your old xbox you can use a socket set or just break it out as I did using a flathead screwdriver and some carefully applied force. I also wedged the hard drive in with some cardboard to ensure it won't move around. This saved me a bit of money and also saved me the hassle of transferring all my data. |
