    It’s not like a single 100m race or something where you can unequivocally say who should have won. It’s impossible to unpick the consequences of an entire season like that. It’s deeply unfair on all the other teams that suffered the consequences of their cheating but didn’t happen to finish second.
    100% this. I realise it's unlikely but I was also interested by the reports that suggested relegation would be considered as a punishment. I vaguely remember Rangers getting sent all the way back down for financial irregularity of a different kind but surely it would be the end of the Man City 'project'.
