    Surely an even bigger poisoned chalice than Liverpool?
    Lots of pressure and if results go against them, the tabloids will have a field day with his various ticks.

    Still, he does have a good track record of getting the best out of average European international sides, so, perfect for England, really.

    If he gets the respect of the players, there should be some tactical continuity from Capello's style. I think Redknapp would've been a good option for a tournament, in getting the team motivated. Sort of like Denmark in 92, plucky underdogs 'n that.
