    Thanks. It's sad they forgot that. Sony in Europe during the PS1 days did a lot of work with third party devs getting them up to speed on the hardware, also the fact the 32bit hardware they used then meant for various reasons the devs here could easily transition from the Amiga to the PS1, meant you had a huge amount of dev support and great library taking advantage of the hardware from the get go.

    It feels like it's taken almost all of this generation for developers to make the same headway with the PS3. I'm not as familiar with the background around the PS2 so not sure what their approach was there with devs or how easy it was to code for.
