    No doubt it needs a price drop and I am pretty sure this is coming. Nintendo obviously want to do this when there is a larger library of games out and they have a top 1st party game to push with it. Just no point at present.

    I really can't see it be another Dreamcast. For a start Sega were nigh on bankrupt at the release of the Dreamcast. They had made huge losses on other console releases and Dreamcast was the last chance solan. It didn't stand a chance sadly.

    One of the key differences for me is that Nintendo still make money. Their handheld platforms sell well, the Wii still sells well. They only ever sell consoles at a profit so they are not in the Red. Worst case you will have a GameCube and tbf if they can produce some games to that quality I would be delighted.
