When Lbro says that Nintendo knew the Wii U would fail before launch, he isn't saying they willingly developed a failure from the beginning, he's saying they realised late in its development that it had little chance of making an impact and cut what losses they could rather than throwing good money after bad. All the games released and upcoming by Nintendo for the console are cheap to make sequels and ports that re-use assets and/or are incredibly simple. I predict that after smash bros is out they'll announce a new home console for christmas 2015. |
