As an aside, I think this is less apparent than it used to be now the vehicle spawn timers have been reduced. You might as well wait for your own vehicle than fly to the enemy. It is very satisfying to see someone fly over to steal your chopper, just to spawn in it and fly away. Bad luck indeed!
