I'm quite composed and civil about my obsession, thank you. ![]() Two major flaws: Comparison with media who don't expect their audience to participate. ME3 CLEARLY boasts about its ability to include player decisions. If ME3 had been a theatre movie, it would have been passable. Like the Matrix series, or Lost. Those had sucky endings too, but indeed the story leading up to it is nice. And no, I wouldn't have fel callen to demand a better ending. I never did participate, why would I start doing so now? However, my choices are supposed to matter in ME2 In fact, flaw number two, we were PROMISED by Bioware that our choices would matter, time and time again. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/10056886/1 That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.” Again, we're talking about ENDINGS and your CHOICES. However, none of our choices mattered to the endings. This is what frustrates me the most. We were promised endings based on our story choices, where we got none. How the hell do all the detractors just ignore that? |
