You always read people on the internet discussing frame rates and how everything should be 60 fps or higher, ideally. I'm sure there is a valid reason, but I don't know what it is. Don't films (live-action and animated) look weird above 24? Like that soap-opera effect where things are moving too fast? Even watching Sopranos on Sky Atlantic is weird because the opening is 25 fps and it looks fast-forwarded. Anyway, if anyone could enlighten me on this, I'd appreciate it. |
