How is it not valid that the big three supermarkets don't stock rey? They would just order a selection of everything from the supplier. So the shops that hold 90% of the retail space selling star wars don't sell rey and my point is somehow invalid?

I was in Disney store in January, a big one and they was zero rey items. That diecast must have sold out but if there was a range of rey products I could have purchased something else yes?

So one more time to avoid confusion.... I am stating it is total bullshit that my girls can't get rey toys. Not from the giant super markets and from the biggest online shop by far (Amazon) there are only two rey products. I'm sorry but that's bullshit and I don't know how it can't be seen as okay.
Its clearly a stock (and/or buying) issue, nothing more. Is it really worth getting so wound up about?

You actually can't order ANY Black Series on Amazon in Canada at the moment because they've sold out. Of everything. Same as Walmart. It might be different in the States, but both out where I am, and my uncle on the other coast, the story is the same. Its not just a shortage of Rey toys.

What exactly do you want them to stock? You said yourself there was a costume. I guess you could argue for a lightsabre, but thats just the Skywalker blue one, so thats been available for ages. Lets take Finn. Beyond the figure and an outfit, what else is there that they can flog in terms of toys? Ditto for Kylo Ren.

In a movie with a broad cast, which, rightly or wrongly has traditionally appealed to boys (and manchilds), its not surprising that there is an emphasis on those, or it appears that way since more of the characters a male/male targeted.

I'll absolutely conceed it was a bit of an oversight not including Rey in the Monopoly set, but thats not sign of a wider conspiracy here.

I can only imagine how pissed off you'd have been if you'd wanted an Optimus Prime back in 1986 or Tracy Island
