I'm not sure why you think its comic effect? If Hasbro know that Leia figures on average sell 50% less than a Luke (ie. historical fact), whats wrong with them only producing half as many?
My problem was never about producing less, it was the fact that the range just wasn't/isn't there. Sure if market research showed Finn would sell 50% more make 50% more stock, don't just flat out not make the rey items.. (Toys, bedding, wallets, note pads etc etc).
Its been proven to you over and over its there. Out of stock does not mean "not produced".
