@Tomo I might have a 3700X going spare if you are just thinking about going that way until Zen 3 parts become more readily available, and/or they release 5700x. Could do you a good price, and if you haven't got rid of the 2080 could do a swap plus some cash/Amazon vouchers on top. (Wunty should vouch for me re: reliability as I've paid him for his spare PS5 pre-order).

No bother if not interested - just thought I'd mention it as I'm doing the same thing as you re: CPU but with GPU. I've decided maybe the best thing is to wait until things settle down next spring and also benefit from a wider choice of custom models/new versions of these GPUs. Plus, I've been thinking maybe finishing the final version of this PC build isn't sensible right now with a PS5 on the way, new TV and now my soundbar has started fizzing so perfect excuse to buy an atmos one to replace it. Only reason for the interest in the 2080 is stupidly having sold my 1080 when I stupidly thought I'd be able to easily pick up a 3070 ! So no working PC right now and the 34 UW monitor I bought 'for work' needs some MS Flight Sim action!
