Need some upgrade advice if possible.

I'm currently using a i7-7700k with a 2080ti

It seems my m.2 drive slots have failed as they are not recognised.

So my MB needs replacing so I thought I'd upgrade my CPU at the sane time. I'm not sure if I swap to Ryzen or stick with intel. I'm not sure how the numbers work with the ryzen and how they compare to what I currently have. Would I need to upgrade ram/cooler and stuff if I went Ryzen? Which Ryzen is better then the i7-7700k? Or do I go i9-10900x
