Not sure that's actually what's happening here. It's about building a club up to the point where we are above the 10 other teams. If we win the league it's a bonus, but clearly we are missing revenue from Europe etc.

As for the rest, it becomes hard having a sensible discussion when the boring digs and whatever else start up. If anyone is actually interested in discussing these things then I'm happy to do so but I can't be arsed getting into an argument with people that have no perspective.
