Never lived near an arcade and only used them when on family holidays to seaside etc but still have great memories of them. What I really miss though is corner shops, cafes, chip shops all used to have cabinets in them, usually SNK stuff. I used to love World Heroes 2, Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury even though they were a poor rip off of SF2. King of Fighters was/is good though. My school's local corner shop had one with an SNK cab and Mortal Kombat for a bit as well. Quite why they wanted to encourage a load of teenage boys into the shop to spend half hour swearing and getting in the way of customers is beyond me. Edited by StringBeanJean at 20:48:04 06-12-2012 |
