For example, we were going to Berlin for Christmas last year and BA cancelled our flight and couldn't get us on another one until a couple of days later. A quick call to the travel insurance and they refunded our hotel and then we just booked a new one for the revised dates.
Shouldn’t BA pay for the hotel? Our airline made a mistake (connecting flight flew off and our plane was slow to land due to a sand storm) and they arranged visas and hotel stay. |
