    So if this talk of no pre-owned is true and an always on connection is required, then maybe you wouldn't need the disc in to launch. If each disc is encoded with a unique ID, and that is then linked console and uploaded to MS servers then that would negate the disc needing to be in the tray. Such a database would also prevent launch on a 2nd console.

    I always install my current 'playlist' (it is much quieter for a start) and don't really mind buggering around with discs but an option to install without recourse to the disc would be welcome.
