Hi all, nice to meet you. I'm new here, I'm in possession of a ps3 and xbox 360. I am very interested on Digital foundry's face off ,because I really seem very good articles and very technical details. I always choose the multi plataform games according to the analysis of Digital Foundry. I recently learned of the existence of a website called "Lens of truth" and to my surprise, many of the comparisons of the same game made by Digital Foundry and Lens of truh not match ... Two examples that caught my attention were the comparisons of Splatterhouse and Dead Space 1 (two of my favourite games) In the splatterhouse face off, Digital Foundry ensures that both versions are exactly identical with no graphical advantage: both versions have the same strengths and weaknesses. However Lens of truth mentioned the Xbox 360 version is more polished in graphics. I have the PS3 version and I wonder if really are equal. Regarding dead space, Digital foundry says the PS3 version has frame rate falls but lens of truth ensures that the frame rate is just as solid in both versions and are also graphically identical. I have dead space for xbox 360 and I get the impression that the graphics are little sharper, which makes me think that really lens of truh is lying. I don't know about the frame rate on ps3 version. I worried about this issue because I have fear of choosing the wrong version of a multiplatform game, and I am very concerned to know who is telling the truth and who is lying. Personally according to what I see with my own eyes, gives me the impression that Digital Foundry comparisons are true because they are not based on personal opinions; they are based on technical analysis. I'd appreciate if someone can please clarify my doubts on this issue and in particular for Splatterhouse and Dead Space 1. Thank you very much for your attention Best Regards. |
