I've given up on this whole thing now. I've witnessed too many personal attacks, especially on Twitter, where people have had to put up with some pretty bad stuff for stating opinions related to this. That's not to say Gamergate people have " won", it's just not worth the time and effort for what you have to put up with. They're doing all the work themselves anyway. At the start of this I saw Anita's videos and thought that there's a couple of issues with video games we should address. Now I can't even hear the word "gamer" without thinking of a group of angry hateful boys trying to attack people from behind their computer. |
