I was relatively late to this conversation, but I remember saying to people who claimed to be in it purely for the issues of ethical journalism, 'Why don't you then split from these people that seem more interested in just causing trouble?'. You'd often get the reply that they were a tiny minority of the group, but they seem to be the ones that make all the negative stories and now being exposed as part of a hate group with a racial agenda is a lot harder to justify. Those poor people have been used by an organized group of twats with an axe to grind.
If a small group of bile spewing retards hijacks the movement and media attention (it's always the loud-mouths that people focus on), should you give up that movement umbrella? That's a slippery slope.
There are quite a few radical feminazis out there perverting the feminist pov. Should rational feminists give up their movement and split into a new one? The only thing that that will achieve is that the shouters just switch to that one. It's a pointless exercise.

Not to mention that there are a shitload of trolls (or at least I hope they are with the dumb shit I see posted) out there on both sides trying (very productively) to just get sides to fight each other instead of solving issues.

This is the ultimate Achilles heel of every decentralised movement (left and right) and tbh, I don't think there is a solution.

Tbh, I'm getting really sick and tired of the extremely antagonised debates (hah). Everybody is just shouting their opinion, nobody listens. All sides just sicken me. Not just this, western society as a whole.
