that's the way it is presented though.
As I've said several times, I don't do twitter, so all is see is the way it gets reported, which is invariably couched in terms of OUTRAGE! (capital letters seemingly not optional)
With this in mind, why should I, as a non-user believe it is a worthwhile method of discourse, and worth my time paying attention to, and not just somewhere people choose 'sides' and argue ineffectually? (cf the other current Swift/Minaj twitterstorm that the Guardian has devoted several pages to over the last couple of days)
