@ardamillo try this guide: http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone-arena-guide they have charts for picking cards for each hero. what's interesting is, lots of great cards are actually not that good in the arena because they rely on having specific cards in your deck (that you might not get in the arena). now, i'm not that great of a player, but i did get 9 wins once by forging a deck using that guide (always picking the highest tier card). sidenote: I think the white cards are the most basic in the expert packs, because the ones without a gem are the ones you unlock when leveling. might be wrong though!
