shenmue - when Ryo's (or is it Ryu? its been a while) american, (or Jamaican? again, its been a while) friend leaves. and the annoyance of it endng hugely prematurely. Trilogy my arse.

silent hill, when you get stabbed to death at the beginning by a pack of knife weilding kids. cant say i expected that to happen, oh no!
