A bit late to the party but I was doing that bit today and after a couple of annoying reloads realized that you don't get any XP anyway and it does not trigger the fight until you have looted everything. So, only took in my lucky charm (leaving the other 3 outside the crypt) then proceeded to loot everything to my heart's content and then just teleport using the pyramids back to the other 3 when done. Some fights can be annoying but it is nice that there are some nifty ways out of them sometimes!
