    The whole purpose of killing second hand games is to try and maximise their own profits at the expense of the customer and retail customers. Neither of those two keep the customer happy.
    Because the consumer is just a fool who will part with their money regardless? That attitude more than any other is what causes businesses to fail.

    Steam is without doubt the example that the industry is looking at. No secondhand. DRM up the ass. And the consumers love it. That's how it's done. It's all about balance, but there is a direct relationship between giving customers what they want and business being successful.
