@Killerbee Race is purely comsmetic (with some entirely inconsequential stat differences - like +1 versus -1, which is nothing when you're looking at 4 digit numbers in stats). Archer becomes Bard (once you've reached Archer 30 and Main Scenario 25 (a quest called Sylph-Management). There is no bad choice, since you can begin to unlock other classes / jobs once you've done your level 10 archer quest. You can ultimately play every single job and crafter/gatherer on one character. If you're enjoying the references to previous FF games at this point in the game, then you're in for a wild ride. I don't think there is a single mainline FF game that doesn't get a/multiple references. |
