@Psiloc I think it stays all the way up to the very end of the Stormblood storyline (there's also an underlying amount of hours, but I forget how many.

As for the influx, I think the expanded free trial has certainly had an impact, as well as word of mouth. I know a few people who started just because they saw the Endwalker trailer, too.
