A related thing that's dying out because of everyone using mobile phones, but receiving a phone call when it's a wrong number. "Hello." "Hello can I speak to Sarah please?" "There's no Sarah here. You've got the wrong number." "Who's that then?" Right. "Who's that then?" What answer do you give that would be any help at all to the caller? Would this help? "Who's that then?" "Dave*" "Oh that makes sense. I see I have called the wrong number after all." *insert whatever name you like because they won't know who you are. |
