There is always the potential for unseen issues. I bought a flat in the People's Republic of Manchester last year without realising that the previous tenant was a narcotics retailer. Since then I have had an endless stream of shit from utilities companies, the local council and collections agencies relating to his apparent propensity for doing whatever the fuck he liked and never paying for it. My mailbox is still bombarded with demands which I have given up reposting and started putting straight in the bin.
