Sorry Zulu, sometimes it really is for the best though. I was messed around waiting for a seller to provide planning drawings, not just 4 of 9 pages, they told us our solicitor was being difficult for being thorough. They then pulled out of selling the house and 1 week later they offered to sell it to us if we got a different solicitor! I didn’t reply, they’d built the house themselves but apparently deviated from the plans and got it signed off somehow. My main advice is always get a good solicitor/recommended by people you know.
